Parenting Through Cancer Closure
Parents impacted by cancer have told and shown us that they find our resources incredibly helpful, but that they are less interested in being part of an online community. In 2023, we asked parents about their experience of Parenting Through Cancer (PTC). Parents told us clearly that they wanted access to more resources, but were not so interested in the other features of the online community.
As a result, we have decided to close the Parenting through Cancer online community.
We will instead focus our efforts on developing additional parent-focused resources on topics ranging from how to have difficult conversations about cancer, information about supporting your children and family through change, through to self-care for parents who are struggling.
