Online Support Programs
When your child has cancer, getting to in-person support is not always possible. Redkite’s online support programs are designed to reach you wherever you are, at a time that suits. These programs support children, teenagers and parents at every stage of the cancer experience, and they are especially valuable for families in regional and remote areas or anyone who prefers the flexibility of connecting from home.
What the programs include
Our facilitated, self-paced programs offer practical tools, emotional support, and helpful strategies for the whole family:
- MusicBox: Brings music therapy into your home, with creative activities for children and teens to explore their emotions through music and movement, plus ideas to support family connection.
- CatNap: A flexible, evidence-based program with practical strategies to help parents improve sleep and prioritise self-care.
- Refresh Kids Eating: Supports parents and carers in re-establishing healthy eating habits with their child after cancer treatment.
- Work Companion: Helps parents navigate work and caregiving, whether returning to the workplace or managing employment during treatment.
Who are the programs for?
These online programs are for children and young people aged 0 to 17 affected by cancer and the people caring for them, including parents, carers and grandparents. Group registrations are managed through a myRedkite account, and you can join sessions that match your family’s stage, from newly diagnosed through to after treatment ends.
How to access the programs
Getting started is straightforward. Reach out to Cancer Hub, and we will help you get started. Once registered and set up, you can access all programs for free at any time through the myRedkite portal.
