Cancer Hub is committed to helping families dealing with a cancer diagnosis to more easily access the support they need, when they need it. Canteen, Camp Quality and Redkite have come together to offer a wide range of practical and emotional cancer support services for families facing cancer (with children aged 0-25) through this one stop shop, Cancer Hub.
From an innovative Robots Service that allows young cancer patients to stay connected to their community from their hospital bed, to Family Retreats that provide a precious break for families to reconnect and even Financial Assistance to help families pay for essential items, there is a cancer support service to suit any family.
Book Club
We have books for children, teens and adults, covering a range of topics to help throughout the cancer experience. Borrow for free for as long as you like!
Camps
Kids’ Camps and Family Camps are opportunities for kids and their families to have fun experiences together, make positive memories and meet friends who understand.
Cancer Education Program
The Camp Quality Puppets visit primary and preschools across Australia delivering education that dispels cancer myths and creates an inclusive community for kids impacted by cancer.
Canteen Connect
A secure online community where 12-25 year-olds can connect with other young people impacted by cancer, check out events and chat to a counsellor.
Children’s Counselling
Redkite’s Children’s Counselling supports kids with cancer and siblings (5-18yrs) through tailored activities. Focusing on emotional well-being, resilience, and self-esteem in a safe, caring environment.
Education and Career Support
This service helps young cancer patients aged 15-25 stay connected to study or work both during and after their cancer treatment.
Family Retreats
A precious break for families to reconnect and have a holiday away together, often for the first time since diagnosis.
Financial Assistance
